Support
Email support@hindupro.app with your question. Tell us the email address of your account (if it has one) and the version of the app (at the bottom of Settings).
In a crisis, contact your local emergency number now. Hindu Pro is not a crisis service. You can find a free helpline in your country at findahelpline.com.
Your account and signing in
- You do not need an account to start. Tap Get started to use Hindu Pro as a guest, with no name and no email address.
- A guest account is only on your phone. To keep your practice, chats and premium on all your devices, open Settings (tap your avatar on Today), then tap Create an account.
- Hindu Pro has no password. Enter your email address, and the app sends you a 6-digit code.
- A code works for 10 minutes. If it does not arrive, look in your spam folder, then ask for a new code after 30 seconds.
- On a new phone, tap I already have an account and sign in with the same email address. Your practice, settings and chats come back.
- If you sign in from a guest account to an account that already exists, the app opens that account. The guest practice on your phone is deleted, and a guest subscription moves to that account.
- If you do not open a guest account for 60 days, it can no longer be opened, and we delete it. Your premium can still come back: start again, then tap Restore purchases in Settings.
Premium and subscriptions
- Cancel or change a plan on iPhone: open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Hindu Pro.
- Cancel or change a plan on Android: open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then Hindu Pro.
- Premium continues until the end of the period that you paid for.
- Premium does not show after you buy it: in the app, open Settings and tap Restore purchases. Make sure that you use the same Apple Account or Google account that you bought it with.
- Refunds on iPhone: Apple handles refunds. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Refunds on Android: Google Play handles refunds. See Google Play refunds.
- Free trials: on iPhone, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends if you do not want to pay. On Android, cancel before the trial ends.
Ask
- The free plan includes 3 questions each day. The count starts again at 00:00 UTC; the app shows the local time.
- Before your first question, the app asks your permission to send your questions to an AI model. Nothing goes to the AI until you agree.
- Answers can be wrong. To report an answer, touch and hold it, then tap Report answer.
Calendar and location
- Dates and times are for your location. To use your location, open Calendar and allow it. On Android, the app asks only for your approximate location. If you do not allow it, the app uses New Delhi.
- Your local temple or almanac can give a different date for a festival. Traditions differ from region to region.
Reminders
- Allow notifications to get the daily verse and festival reminders. To change this on iPhone, open the Settings app, then Notifications, then Hindu Pro. On Android, open the Settings app, then Apps, then Hindu Pro, then Notifications. The reminders are in the Reminders category.
- To change the time of the daily verse, open Settings in the app, then Daily verse reminder.
Delete your account
In the app, open Settings (tap your avatar on Today), then tap Delete account. This deletes your account and all of its data. It does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it first. You can also email us to ask us to delete your account. See Delete your account.
